Suffolk County Unleashed!

Hello world! You've probably seen my adorable little face around the site, and am wondering who I am-well, I'm the cute little guy that stays up all night, posting the pups so they can find homes! I first started the site for the Middle Island Dog Park which kinda' made me a celeb of sorts- you can read all about me here: http://www.courant.com/news/local/ny-lidogs0427,0,5970583.story and now more than 1000 people and their pups are havin' a blast at the dog park! Having done that, I decided it was time to start getting some of my doggie friends some homes, sooo.... I told mom, and she thought it would be a great idea! So here we are, now 2 years later, reaching over 400,000 people, some as far away as Alaska, and placing more than 300 pups a year- Can you believe it? And this year we are gonna' get better, no more of those "boring" puppy posts, no sir- this year our posts are gonna' rock! I told mom we need to be "unique," and "different," because all our doggies have their own stories to tell...so let's tell those stories in a "fun" way! So from now on we are changing the format of our posts- we're gonna' be like you humans, and have our own "personal ads-" I like to call 'em "Puppy Personals!" No more pups with "disabilities," our pups have CAPAbilities! Because us canines don't see things in bad ways, everything we do, no matter what we've been through, were' still happy! So if we are blind, or missing legs, or deaf, we don't care, because we aren't negative- we just go through life, giving licks and smooches- nothin' stops us! So come along for the ride to the new and improved Suffolk Unleashed- us single pups are lookin' for love, and the best is yet to come!
