"Roofus was born May 25, 2006. He has been called a "tweenie" which means he is in between a mini and a standard dachshund. I fell in love with Roofus on the spot and purchased him at the age of 5 months. He was super playful from the start and loved to romp around with our German Shepherd/ Rottweiler mix at home. Naturally, after playing with a large breed, he now thinks he's a big boy! Meanwhile, at the dog park, he plays with his fellow little ones just the same and can't get enough of it! If there was one word to describe Roofus, it would be sweetheart- he is especially friendly and enjoys cuddling on the couch. He also loves to travel and can relax on a long trip in the car. Currently, Roofus is training to track and hunt deer and I feel he gets an extreme sense of purpose while doing so. Soon, he will be Jimmy's hunting sidekick!"
